Ultrasound Technologist Position

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts either 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM depending on room assignment
• Weekend coverage requires 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM with shortened weekday shifts (7 hours) before and after
• No call responsibilities
• 3+ years of ultrasound experience required
• Must hold ARDMS (AB) or ARDMS (OB) certification
• Focus on general ultrasound exams only (no vascular procedures)
• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius from facility
• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures following physician orders and department protocols
• Operate ultrasound equipment and select appropriate transducers, settings, and techniques
• Prepare patients by explaining procedures, taking medical history, and proper positioning
• Recognize and document normal and abnormal sonographic findings
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians for preliminary impressions and timely report delivery
• Maintain accurate patient records and technical data documentation
• Ensure proper equipment sterilization and maintenance
• Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and regulatory compliance standards
• Work with patients of all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Participate in quality assurance programs and continuing education
