Opportunity:

6 week assignment

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with call responsibilities
• On-call requirement Monday-Friday from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM and Saturday/Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• Work with GE NM 850 Dual Head SPECT/CT Scanner, GE NM 830 Dual Head Gamma Camera, and GE Case 8000 Stress Testing system
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Must be registered NMTCB and/or ARRT(N)
• Must hold MRT license for Texas Medical Board
• BLS certification from HCA approved vendor required
• Experience with GE Scanners and Xeleris Post Processing preferred
• GE Centricity PACS experience and Meditech Health Information System knowledge preferred
• Must have excellent venipuncture skills and good computer skills
• Perform general, cardiac and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures
• Conduct Sentinel Node Injections, DATScan, Hida, Gastric Emptying, VQ, Thyroid Uptake, Bone Scan Indium 111, Thyroid Ablations, and Xofigo procedures
• Must be flexible, positive, dependable, and a team player

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a 191-bed hospital including NICU services with a well-equipped Nuclear Medicine department on the first floor of the main building. The nuclear medicine department maintains modern equipment and technology, with a small dedicated team consisting of full-time and PRN staff. The facility is supported by radiology RNs and tech aides who provide assistance to the nuclear medicine department, creating a collaborative work environment with established protocols and advanced medical technology.
