Opportunity:

OR - Operating Room

Job Details:

• 2 years of experience required
• Accepts first-time travelers
• Block scheduling format
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Daily census of 20 cases per day in 10 operating rooms
• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• 30% inpatient, 70% outpatient, 10% pediatrics case mix
• On-call may be required with weekend coverage for on-call support only
• Floating may be required to other campuses on same service line
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (preferred)
• Specialties include orthopedic, general surgery, urology, gynecology, spine procedures
• Circulate for ENT, total joints, neuro/spine, OB-GYN, orthopedic, plastics, robotics cases
• Scrub for trauma and vascular procedures
• Orthopedic sports medicine experience required with scrub experience preferred
• Robotics and ENT experience strongly preferred with endoscope experience
• Required skills: robotics, procedure sedation, blood/blood products administration, drains, epidural pumps, PICC/central lines, port-a-cath/vascular device access/care, wound vac
• Must be comfortable with various surgical procedures including laparoscopic, arthroscopic, and robotic surgeries
• Experience with conscious sedation monitoring required
