Opportunity:
Radiation Oncology Therapist
Job Details:
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM depending on patient load
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Minimum 5 years of experience in external beam radiation therapy patient treatment delivery required
• Deliver external beam radiation therapy patient treatments on Varian TrueBeam and Elekta Infinity treatment machines
• Use Mosaiq record and verify treatment record system for charting
• Work alongside at least one other therapist on each treatment machine - therapists do not work alone on treatment machines
• Treat patients daily as a locum Radiation Therapist
• Dedicated to Radiation Oncology department only - no floating to other departments
• Outpatient clinic setting with no bed size requirement
• Weekends not required unless rare occurrence of machine downtime during the week
• Dress code: Business casual or scrubs, no open-toed shoes, facility-provided T-shirt or scrub top
• No specific scrub color requirement
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA)

This outpatient Radiation Oncology clinic operates as an acute care setting providing comprehensive cancer treatment services. The facility is equipped with advanced radiation therapy technology and utilizes a modern electronic charting system. The department maintains a dedicated team of experienced radiation therapists focused exclusively on delivering high-quality external beam radiation therapy treatments to oncology patients.
