Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 5 years of experience in external beam radiation therapy patient treatment delivery required
• Perform radiation therapy patient treatments using Varian TrueBeam Machine and Elekta Infinity treatment machine
• Work with a partner - two therapists assigned to each machine (will not work alone)
• Focus on treating patients daily in outpatient setting
• Weekends typically not required unless machine downtime during week necessitates weekend treatments (rare occurrence)
• Dedicated to Radiation Oncology department only - no floating to other departments
• 3-5 day orientation period via shadowing current radiation therapists
• Required certifications: ARRT and BLS (AHA)
• Use EPIC charting system and Mosaiq record and verify treatment record
• Business casual dress code with scrubs acceptable, no open-toed shoes
• May cancel up to 24 hours per 13 weeks
