Opportunity:

MedSurg RN-Post OR Recovery Patients

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts
• Care for medical/surgical patients including post-operative recovery patients
• Handle oncology med/surg overflow patients as needed
• Maintain 1:5 patient ratios
• Float as needed within scope of practice
• Must pass open book skills exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score to continue
• One year of experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• Charge nurse experience of at least one year preferred
• Work with respiratory therapy equipment including nasal cannula
• Use EPIC charting system
• BSN degree not required
• BLS certification required
• Valid driver's license required at submittal
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments
• Must be located more than 50 miles from facility and cannot be employed with any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity affiliated facilities
