Opportunity:
PT - Outpatient Physical Therapy
Job Details:
• Outpatient physical therapy position
• Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Fridays 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM
• Occasional weekend coverage required for acute care evaluations approximately every 5 weeks
• Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs
• Treat individuals of all ages from newborns to elderly patients
• Develop individualized treatment plans to promote mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability
• Provide educational information to patients regarding injury prevention, ergonomics, restorative therapy, and rehabilitation therapy
• Supervise physical therapy assistants and aides in performing treatment
• Develop fitness and wellness-oriented programs for healthier and more active lifestyles
• Minimum 2 years of recent physical therapy experience required, hospital experience preferred
• Valid South Carolina PT license required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
