Opportunity:
RN - Women & Children's Services
Job Details:
• EPIC experience required
• Provide nursing care for childbearing women (adolescence to middle adulthood), neonates, and families
• Perform initial assessments and stabilization of neonates
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on physical and learning needs
• Teach self-care and newborn care to patients and families
• Assess patient and family developmental levels, health status, and health history including sexual and reproductive history
• Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines in treatment and referrals for at-risk families
• Promote bonding process and support family interaction
• Effectively function as a team member and liaison between patient and staff
• Demonstrate strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills
• Maintain a high level of mental and emotional tolerance when working with ill patients and families
• Current Pennsylvania RN licensure required
• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), ACLS (American Heart Association)
• Completion of an accredited registered nurse program required
• Receives minimal supervision from the Director of Women & Children's Services
