Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• Seasonal travel position working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Work in an 84-bed NICU unit with 160 staff members
• Patient ratios of 2:1 for NICU and 3:1 for NSCU
• Work alongside Charge CNC Nurses, RNs, Unit Secretaries, and Respiratory Therapists
• Utilize equipment including Medela, Alaris, Ohmeda, Drager, and Philips/GE ECG systems
• Document using Neonatal Notes Manager and Meditech EMR systems
• Perform procedures including IV placement, Whole Body Cooling, Surgical Cases (NEC, PDA, CVC), PDA Ligations, High Frequency Ventilation, and Chest Tubes
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care NICU hospital experience required
• Active Kansas licensure required
• Required certifications: BLS and NRP
• Level IV NICU experience preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• Experience traveling to large teaching facilities preferred
• Must be a team player with excellent communication skills and commitment to developmental supportive care
• Must support Family Centered Care and Exceptional Patient Experience

The unit is equipped with advanced technology and modern equipment to support high-acuity neonatal patients, including surgical cases and high-frequency ventilation capabilities.
