Opportunity:
RN - NICU
Job Details:
• Seasonal travel RN position in the Neonatal ICU (NICU)
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Unit located on floors 2 and 3 of the main building
• 84-bed unit with a staff of 160
• Patient ratios: 2:1 NICU, 3:1 NSCU
• Work with equipment including Medela, Alaris, Ohmeda, Drager, and ECG systems (Philips, GE)
• EMR system: Neonatal Notes Manager / Meditech
• Perform procedures including IV, Whole Body Cooling, Surgical Cases (NEC, PDA, CVC), PDA Ligations, High Frequency Ventilation, and Chest Tubes
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care NICU hospital experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and NRP
• Active Kansas licensure required
• Level IV NICU experience preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• Experience traveling to large teaching facilities preferred
• Must be a team player with excellent communication skills and commitment to developmental supportive care
• Must support Family Centered Care and Exceptional Patient Experience

This facility is a large, well-established medical center featuring an 84-bed Neonatal ICU staffed by a dedicated team of over 160 professionals, including Charge CNC Nurses, RNs, Unit Secretaries, and Respiratory Therapists. The unit operates around the clock with both day and night shift teams and is equipped with modern technology to support advanced neonatal care. The facility emphasizes family-centered care and exceptional patient experience, making it an ideal environment for skilled NICU nurses looking to make a meaningful impact.
