Opportunity:

TRAVEL - RN - SICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Located on the 2nd floor of Building 7
• 26-bed Surgical ICU unit
• Patient ratios of 1:2, with 1:1 for high acuity patients including post-CABG patients (estimated ratios, not guaranteed)
• Work alongside a team of 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 Patient Care Tech per shift
• Operate and work with equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia equipment, and ECMO
• Utilize Meditech EMR system
• Care for trauma patients, post-CABG, post-TAVR, and general post-surgical ICU patients
• Perform procedures including chest tube management, central line care, and medication drips
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH
• TNCC certification preferred
• Prior experience traveling to large trauma facilities preferred
• Ideal candidate is driven, organized, efficient, and maintains a positive and engaged attitude

This medical center is a large acute care hospital and trauma facility offering a wide range of specialized services. The Surgical ICU is a 26-bed unit equipped with advanced technology including ECMO, CRRT, balloon pumps, and hypothermia equipment. The facility serves a diverse patient population including complex surgical and trauma cases, supported by an experienced and dedicated clinical team.
