Opportunity:

RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Work in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) with 4 beds
• Patient ratios of 1:1 for immediate post-surgical patients and 1:2 for POD 1-3
• Primary nursing model with unit secretary and tech support
• 36-hour work week with 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks
• Documentation system: Meditech Expanse
• Floating policy requires maintaining the same patient ratio as the unit floated to
• Must have 1-2 years of experience with fresh cardiac surgery patients and direct primary recovery
• Advanced skills required: ACLS, balloon pump, Impella training, Hemosphere or Acumen trained
• Unit is part of a new cardiac surgery program launch
• Required certification: ACLS
• Required dress code: Navy blue scrubs
