Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Assigned to the CCU Coronary Care Unit with 26 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Night shift team consists of 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 Patient Care Tech
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH
• Prior Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Prior experience traveling to large facility ICU units preferred
• Work with equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia devices
• Perform procedures including heart catheterizations, balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia, cardioversion, central lines, and medication drips
• Ideal candidate is driven, organized, efficient, and maintains a positive and engaged attitude

This facility is a large acute care hospital featuring a specialized Coronary Care Unit equipped with advanced technology including balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia devices. The unit operates with a well-staffed team around the clock, maintaining a strong focus on high-acuity cardiac patient care. The facility utilizes Meditech as its electronic medical records system and is known for treating complex cardiovascular cases.
