Job Details:

• 5x8 day shift schedule with guaranteed 72 hours per 2 weeks
• Traveler can be called off for 1 eight-hour shift per 2 weeks
• Block schedule accommodations available
• No on-call requirements
• No floating within scope to meet facility needs
• Time off approved on an individual basis upon offer
• Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
• Largely outpatient pediatric population with department serving hospital inpatient, swing bed, LTC, and outpatient settings
• Must have ability to transition between inpatient, outpatient, and LTC settings
• Prior pediatric and inpatient experience preferred
• Required skills: acute disorder, chronic disorder, functional activities, standardized assessments, developmental testing/treatment
• Preferred skills: national patient safety goals/core measures, billing, feeding techniques (oral/motor), disability sequence test
• Patient age groups include adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• 1 year of experience required; travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Required certifications: BLS
• Preferred certifications/skills: Manual Therapy, Hand Therapy
• Facility provides housing (1-bedroom apartment) and a shared-use rental vehicle during assignment
• Pets are not allowed in facility-provided housing
• Only the traveler is authorized to operate the facility-provided vehicle
• Traveler must provide a valid driver's license and proof of insurance prior to operating the vehicle
• Personal vehicle insurance must include rental car coverage
• Vehicle must be returned cleaned with a full tank of gas
