Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

• Seasonal 13-week contract position
• Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• No on-call requirements
• 4 weekend shifts per schedule
• Work on a Level 4 designated maternal center caring for the most complex patients at any gestation
• Patient ratios of 1:2 and 1:1
• Experience with high-risk maternal patients required
• Circulating operating room and triage experience required
• Greater than 5 years of experience preferred
• Perform vaginal and cesarean section deliveries, tubal ligations, cerclage placement and removal, D&C, C-hyst, and PASD cases
• Must be a strong multi-tasker, able to move at a fast pace and change directions quickly
• Must be a team player in a team-oriented environment
• Required scrub color: Navy blue
• EMR systems used: CPN and Meditech

This facility is a nationally recognized maternity hospital and holds a Level 4 Maternal Designation for the State of Texas, representing the highest level of maternal care available. The facility has received straight A grades from the Leap Frog grading system since the list began, making it the only hospital in Texas to achieve this distinction. The unit features a tenured team with long-term leadership that is fully supportive of staff, and is currently undergoing renovation to update all patient rooms on the floor.
