Opportunity:

TRAVEL EXP REQ - LDRP RN - Req 10402

Job Details:

• Cover all areas of OB including Labor & Delivery, triage, postpartum, and newborn care
• Self-scheduling with every other weekend required
• On-call required once per pay period maximum with a 30-minute callback time
• Float between units as needed to assist with skills when no patients are on L&D, including answering phones and IV starts (no patient assignments in other areas)
• Expected patient ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4, and 1:6
• 3 rooms available with a daily census of 2
• 3+ years of recent LDRP experience required; seasoned travelers only
• Travel experience required
• Must be proficient in Labor & Delivery, triage, and postpartum care
• Skills required include circulating for C-sections, sterile vaginal exams, triage of obstetrical patients, and LDRP
• Patient age groups include neonates, infants, and adults
• Special procedures include wireless fetal monitoring and JADA device for PPH
• Patient diagnoses include PIH and NAS
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and more
• Scrub color: Any color; OR scrubs provided
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Parking: No fee
• Must work at least one holiday per assignment period
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, CLC (preferred), Stable (preferred)
• 2 professional references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years

Facility:

This is a Critical Access Hospital with 22 total staff beds, providing essential healthcare services to the surrounding community. The facility supports a full obstetrics unit with wireless fetal monitoring and advanced equipment for postpartum hemorrhage management. Interdisciplinary support services are available on-site, including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy.
