Opportunity:
RN Med-Surg Acute Care/Observation Unit
Job Details:
• 12-hour night shifts with weekend rotation required
• Must agree to be in the call rotation and take 1 call shift per 2-week period in place of guaranteed hours that week if requested due to staffing needs
• Provide the highest degree of quality nursing care to patients in an Acute Care/Med-Surg setting
• Use specialized knowledge and expertise related to critical disease states to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Support growing census driven by increased orthopedic surgeries, hybrid Cath Lab procedures, and acute/chronic illnesses
• May be required to provide Intermediate Care in CCU as needed
• Minimum of 2 years of Acute Care/Med-Surg/Telemetry or similar RN experience required
• At least 3 years of RN Med-Surg experience preferred
• Current RN License to work in Colorado required
• Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association required
• Current ACLS issued by the American Heart Association required

This facility operates a growing Acute Care and Med-Surg unit supported by an active orthopedic surgery program and hybrid Cath Lab procedures. The unit provides comprehensive nursing care for patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, with access to Intermediate Care in the CCU as needed. The facility is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and supports its nursing staff with the resources and expertise needed to manage complex disease states.
