Opportunity:

Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• 13-week travel assignment
• Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM
• 5x8 shift schedule
• Guaranteed 72 hours per 2-week period
• Traveler may be called off for 1 eight-hour shift per 2-week period
• On-call required with some weekend call coverage
• Block schedule accommodations available
• Must reside at least 50 miles from facility - no locals accepted
• Candidates will float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
• Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
• All requested time off must be included at time of submission
• Perform a variety of general and vascular ultrasound exams
• Patient population includes all ages: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required: Registered sonographer in both general and vascular
• Preferred: Credentials from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in abdomen, obstetrics/gynecology, and vascular technology
• Preferred: Experience with neonatal cranial exams
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ARDMS, ARDMS RVT
• Charting system: Epic (experience preferred)
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Parking is free
• 40 orientation hours included
• 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years

Facility:

This is an acute care hospital and Magnet-designated facility recognized as a Level II Trauma Center. With 407 staffed beds, the facility is equipped to handle a wide range of medical conditions and provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, and transportation. The ultrasound department scans a broad variety of general and vascular exams serving a diverse patient population across all age groups.
