Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Day shift hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty required
• Travel experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Must be willing to float between two locations approximately 15 minutes and 10 miles apart
• Block scheduling available
• Required certifications: ARRT-T, BLS
• Epic/Excellian charting experience required
• Scrub color: Grey
• Parking available at a flat rate of $0.55/hour
• Must be proficient with the following equipment: 4 Varian TrueBeam units (2 with and 2 without EDGE packages), 2 GE CT SIM, Align/Vision RT, CBCT, and Triggered Imaging
• Treat both inpatient and outpatient populations across all disease types including breast, brain, lung, prostate, GI/GU, and palliative cases
• Perform and support specialized procedures including SRS, SBRT, SRT, and DIBH Breast
• Treat pediatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Work with patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

Facility:

This short-term acute care facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital with Level III Trauma status and a total of 672 staffed beds. The facility holds multiple prestigious accreditations including APEX, Joint Commission, Commission on Cancer (COC), and NAPBC accreditations. The radiation therapy department operates four treatment rooms and provides a comprehensive range of advanced radiation therapy services supported by state-of-the-art equipment and a robust interdisciplinary care team.
