Opportunity:

Mobile MRI Tech

Job Details:

• 11-week contract position
• Work 4x10 shifts, Monday through Thursday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Will work holidays if they fall on a scheduled shift
• No on-call required
• Guaranteed hours: facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT
• Siemens experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Scrub colors: teal top, black bottom
• Radiation badge not required
• Patient age groups: adults and geriatrics
• Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services, radiology, and unit secretary
• Skills required include a broad range of MRI procedures including brain, abdomen, pelvis, spine, extremities, MRA/MRV, MRCP, contrast media preparation and administration, peripheral IV starts, and advanced imaging techniques

This facility is a large Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma center with 865 staffed beds. The organization provides a full spectrum of advanced medical care and is supported by robust interdisciplinary teams including radiology, interpretation services, and unit secretaries.
