Opportunity:

OR RN - BLOCK WKNDS TRAVEL EXP

Job Details:

• Block schedule required working 12-hour shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• No on-call required
• No floating between units
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• At least 1 year of OR RN experience required
• Orthopedic, Neuro, General, XI/DV5 Robot, and Trauma experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Department handles acute and elective cases including Neurology, General, Bariatric, Urology, Orthopedic, Cardio-Thoracic, Robotic (XI & DV5), Trauma, Kidney Transplant, and Organ Procurement
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CNOR
• Valid compact state license must be in hand at time of submission
• Dress code for licensed nursing personnel (RN, LVN): solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire; scrub tops may have colored piping; print tops are not acceptable
• Free parking available in designated employee/visitor surface parking lots
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during submittal
• 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years, completed during compliance process and prior to start

Facility:

This short-term acute care facility features 379 staffed beds and operates as a Level II Trauma Center. The operating room department supports a wide range of surgical specialties including orthopedics, neurology, general surgery, bariatrics, urology, cardio-thoracic, robotic surgery utilizing the XI and DV5 systems, trauma, kidney transplant, and organ procurement. The facility maintains a daily census of approximately 25 patients across 14 operating rooms and provides comprehensive interdisciplinary surgical care to the community.
