Opportunity:
VAR SHIFT TRAVEL EXP - OR circulating exp RN - Req 10349
Job Details:
• 8-hour shifts, AM and PM, alternating depending on need (7:00 AM–3:30 PM and 11:00 AM–7:30 PM)
• On-call required: one weeknight per week and one weekend every 6 weeks
• Weekend shifts are call only — no standard weekend shifts
• 20-minute callback requirement when on call; must stay within callback distance
• On-call room available near the facility for travelers unable to find housing within the 20-minute callback window
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• No floating between units
• 40-hour orientation
• Previous OR circulating experience required
• OR charge experience preferred; no first-time travelers
• Travel experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• BLS certification required
• Valid WA or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Scrubs: any color
• Primary services include: General, Ortho, Neuro, GYN, OB (C-sections), ENT, Plastics, Vascular, and Eyes
• Procedures include: Abdominoplasty, Anterior cervical fusion, Appendectomy, C-sections, Cholecystectomy, Colon resection, Cystoscopy, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, General OR, Hana Table, Hernia repair, Laminectomy/discectomy, Laparoscopic assisted procedures, Mako Surgical System, Mastectomy, Open reduction of fractures, Thyroidectomy, Tonsillectomy/adenoids, Total joint replacement, Trauma, Universal Protocol (Time out), and XLIF
• Patients include adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Facility has 5 OR rooms
• Interdisciplinary support includes: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
Facility:
This facility is a Short Term Acute Care Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds. The operating room team supports a wide range of surgical specialties including general, orthopedic, neurological, and vascular services, as well as robotic surgery using the Xi Surgical System. The OR team also provides on-call coverage for OB cases including C-sections, reflecting the facility's comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to surgical care.
