Opportunity:
Ultrasound Tech
Job Details:
• Primarily day shift with occasional overnight or weekend shifts as needed by the department
• Possible shift times include: 7:30 AM–3:30 PM, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, 11:00 AM–11:00 PM, and 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
• Travel candidates may be assigned to 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts
• Travel candidates on 12-hour shifts are guaranteed a minimum of 36 hours per one-week work period
• Travel candidates on shifts less than 12 hours are guaranteed a minimum of 40 hours per one-week work period
• Daily caseload per tech: 40–70 patients
• 7 rooms available
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; 2 years preferred
• Travel experience required
• Work setting experience required: Outpatient, Inpatient, ER, Teaching Hospital, and Community Hospital
• Must be proficient with PACS, portables, and biopsies
• Equipment/scanner experience required: Philips
• Documentation system experience required: Epic (Excellian)
• Required certifications: BLS, RDMS-AB, RDMS-OB, RVT, ARDMS
• Serves patients across all age groups: adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Scrub color required: dark gray
• No on-call requirements
• Weekend shifts worked as needed per department needs
• Requested time off ideally no more than 5 days

This acute care facility is a 317-bed teaching hospital designated as a Level 3 trauma center. The facility offers a robust interdisciplinary support network including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation.
