Opportunity:
RN - Cardiac Cath Lab
Job Details:
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Monday through Friday schedule
• No call required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted with strong prior clinical experience in a high volume, high acuity center
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI - RCIS
• Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Philips Monitoring equipment used
• Procedures range from diagnostic cath to structural heart, cardiogenic shock, and ECMO
• Experience with all cardiac cath and vascular procedures required
• Patient population: adults with cardiac and vascular diseases
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Unit operates 9 rooms with 18 beds and approximately 25 visits per day
• Block scheduling type
• Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• Must be willing to float to other campuses if needed
• All RNs required to pass an EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
