Opportunity:

MRI Technologist

Job Details:

• Wednesday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM, 3x12 Night shifts (36 hours only)
• No call requirement
• No float requirement
• 3 rooms with a daily caseload of 40 patients
• 13-week contract
• 3rd shift technologist works independently in the department (occasional Ops Assistant on duty, not guaranteed)
• Patient age groups: Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics (required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT(R) or ARRT(MR) — credential must be either R.T.(R)(MR)(ARRT) or R.T.(MR)(ARRT)
• Epic charting system experience required; Visage PACS system used
• Must be competent on both Siemens (Avanto and Sola) and GE Premier equipment
• Scrubs: Royal Blue tops and bottoms
• 1-week orientation on first shift, then assessed for independence
• Required MRI procedure experience: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Diffusion (non-brain), Gradient Echo Imaging, Image Post-Processing, Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP), Multiplanar Reconstruction (MRP), Perfusion, Peripheral Magnetic Resonance, Spectroscopy, Spin Echo Images, Surface Coils, T-1 and T-2 Weighted Images
• Work setting experience required: Outpatient, Inpatient, ER, Community Hospital, Adult ICU
• Community Hospital experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Contrast and PACS experience required
