Job Details:

• 3x12 night shift schedule
• Float required within scope to meet facility needs
• Weekends required
• No on-call required
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience required
• Must be experienced working in an ED that sees at least 95 patients per day
• Must be experienced with 4:1 patient ratios
• Patient ratios of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Treats patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Required skills include: BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, continuous IV sedation, general emergency department combined adult and pediatric care, gunshot wounds, head injury, isolation precautions and PPE, IV vasopressors, near drowning, orthopedic trauma, phlebotomy, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, starting and maintaining IVs, and triage
• Local travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
• All requested time off must be included at time of submittal

Facility:

This emergency department operates a 22-room, 30-bed facility that sees approximately 95 patients per day. The department provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary support. The facility is equipped to handle a broad range of emergency cases across all patient age groups in a combined adult and pediatric emergency setting.
