Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required; does not accept first-time travelers
• On-call requirement: one weekday and one weekend per month (minimum requirement)
• Shift hours vary between 8-hour or 10-hour shifts depending on staffing and vacation needs
• Additional days and weekends per month may be required based on staffing needs
• Weekend coverage required
• Patient age groups: Adults and Geriatrics
• Work in a 2-room unit with interdisciplinary transportation support
• Perform and assist with cardiac catheterization, STEMI, EP Lab, interventional, and procedural cases
• Perform biopsies including GI, GU/Renal, and Peripheral Vascular procedures
• Assist with stent placement procedures
• Required skills include: Blood/Blood Products Administration, Cardioversion/Defibrillation, Cooling/Warming Blanket, 12 Lead EKG acquisition, Syringe Pumps
• Additional required skills: Assist with Central Line Insertion/Management, Chest Tube Placement, Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Hypothermia Protocol, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Monitoring Procedural Sedation, Sheath Removal/Monitoring
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
