Job Details:
• 8-hour day shifts starting at 8:00 AM
• 2 weekend shifts required per month
• First to float when needed
• Primarily working in a skilled nursing facility with training to float to inpatient acute care hospital on the same campus
• Inpatient care setting only
• Treat 8-9 patients per day in a post-acute care environment
• Cover stations A, B, C, and D
• Floor-specific orientation provided
• Common diagnoses include total joint replacements, stroke, deconditioning, pneumonia, CVA, TKA, THA, COPD, and balance difficulties; primarily geriatric, orthopedic, and neurological patients with chronic conditions
• Must be able to work independently and perform transfers
• Excellent communication skills required with ability to work closely with an interdisciplinary team
• Charting system: Cerner
• Scrub color: Burgundy
• Holidays may be required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
• Active California PT license required
