Opportunity:

RN Med / Surg

Job Details:

• Work night shifts, 3 shifts per week at 36 hours per week
• Schedule includes every other weekend
• No mandatory overtime, though overtime is allowable
• Minimum Associate's Degree (ADN) from an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience required
• Must maintain current, active Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado
• Must maintain current BLS certification
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• Provide acute care and swing bed patient care at the highest standards of evidence-based practice
• Evaluate patient health status through collection and assessment of health data
• Provide health teaching, health counseling, and supportive therapy and treatment
• Execute delegated medical functions and review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
• Accurately and timely document all assessments, interventions, teaching, and care coordination efforts in the medical record
• Collaborate with ancillary departments and physician providers to address the medical, social, and spiritual needs of patients in a culturally and age-appropriate manner
