Job Details:

• Rotate between Cardiac, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology labs in a split lab environment
• Call schedule includes 9–10 call shifts per 6-week schedule, including weekends
• Weekends included in call schedule
• Float within facility and scope of practice as needed, including Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• Holiday work expectations: if 1–2 major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work both; if 3 major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work 2
• Patient age groups: Adults and Geriatrics
• Daily census of 16 patients across 3 rooms
• 8 orientation hours required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and ARRT R or CCI RCIS
• Required skills include but are not limited to: Cardiac Cath Lab procedures, Interventional Radiology, Angioplasty, Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Stent Placement, Cardioversion, Carotid Stenting, Central Venous Access, Hemodynamic Monitoring, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella Insertion, IVC Filter Placement, Pacemaker Insertion, PCI, PTCA, Right and Left Heart Catheterization, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, TIPS, Embolization, Liver Biopsy, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Scrub and sterile field maintenance, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias

Facility:

This facility operates a split interventional lab environment, rotating staff between Cardiac, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology departments to provide comprehensive procedural care. The facility serves adult and geriatric patient populations and maintains a daily census of 16 patients across 3 procedure rooms. The organization offers a well-structured orientation program and interdisciplinary support to ensure travelers are set up for success from day one.
