TRAVEL - RN - ICU (653)

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• CCU Coronary Care Unit assignment with 26 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Night shift team consists of 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 Patient Care Tech
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH
• Perform procedures including heart catheterizations, balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia, cardioversion, central lines, and medication drips
• Experience with balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia equipment required
• EMR system used is Meditech; prior Meditech experience preferred
• Prior experience traveling to large facility ICU units preferred
• Ideal candidate is driven, organized, efficient, and maintains a positive and engaged attitude

Facility:

This facility is a large acute care hospital housing a specialized Coronary Care Unit equipped with advanced cardiac and critical care technology. The unit supports complex procedures including balloon pump management, continuous renal replacement therapy, and therapeutic hypothermia. The experienced and tenured staff work collaboratively to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced, well-equipped critical care environment.
