Opportunity:

RN - Resource Pool (MedSurg/Stepdown/Tele)

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts with weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Acute care setting across multiple MedSurg, Stepdown, and Tele units
• Staffing ratios of 1:3 for Stepdown and 1:6 for MedSurg/Tele
• Each unit has up to 34 beds
• Cancellation policy of 2 shifts per 13-week contract
• Epic charting system experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience and travel experience preferred
• Must be well-rounded and strong in Stepdown, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, General Medicine, and Oncology
• Royal Blue Scrubs required
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
• BSN not required
• Units covered include: 8 East MedSurg, 8 West Stepdown/Floor, 8 NE Stepdown, 6E Long Term Antibiotic Infusion, 7 East Trauma & General Surgery, 7 West Stepdown/Floor, 7NE Ortho Neuro, 10 East Neuro Stepdown & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, 10 West/6 West Neuro, 9 East Surgical Oncology/MedSurg, and 9 West/TCTU Medical Oncology/Stepdown

This is a Level 1 trauma center operating as a large academic medical facility offering a wide range of specialty services across multiple inpatient units. The facility provides comprehensive care including neurosciences, oncology, orthopedics, trauma, and general surgery, supporting a diverse and complex patient population.
