Opportunity:
Cath Lab Tech
Job Details:
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• 3 cath lab rooms with 5 beds; average daily census of 8-10 patients
• Daily caseload of 5-10 cases including diagnostic cath, PCI, orbital atherectomy, IABP, Impella, and device implants; no EP studies or ablations
• Required skills include hemodynamic monitoring, EKG lead placement, obtaining vitals, rhythm interpretation, and sinus node rhythms
• Pacemaker experience preferred
• Required experience with GE Discovery, IABP, Impella, and CSI equipment
• Epic charting system experience required; Merge preferred
• Scrubs provided by the facility
• Every other weekend required unless otherwise specified
• 10 call days per month required
• Floating required within department and facility; possibility of floating to sister campus
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• Holiday coverage required: if 1-2 major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work all; if 3 major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work 2
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and RCIS, RCES, or ARRT CV
