Job Details:

• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS; ACLS preferred
• On-call shifts are 12 hours; weekday on-call hours are 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM; weekend and holiday on-call hours are either 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM or 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• On-call coverage is divided evenly among approximately 15 RNs
• Weekend coverage for on-call support only
• Floating may be required to other campuses within the same service line
• Case mix includes ortho, general surgery, urology, gynecology, and spine
• Circulate procedures include ENT, total joints, neuro/spine, OB-GYN, ortho, plastics, and robotics
• Scrub procedures include trauma, vascular, arthroscopic surgeries, ENT surgery, orthopedic surgeries, robotic surgery
• Case breakdown: 30% inpatient, 70% outpatient, 10% pediatrics
• Ortho sports medicine experience required; scrub experience preferred
• Robotics and ENT strongly preferred; ENT with endoscope experience preferred
• Daily census of approximately 20 cases per day across 10 rooms
• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Required skills and equipment experience: robotics, procedure sedation, blood/blood products administration, drains, epidural pumps, PICC/central lines, port-a-cath/vascular device access and care, and wound vac
• Block scheduling type
• 2 professional references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
