Opportunity:
Travel RN - Nursing
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend and holiday shifts required
• May be required to float to other units as needed
• Current Wisconsin (WI) nursing license required
• NIHSS certification required
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Education verification required
• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, and standards of care
• Document according to standards of care
• Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient plans of care as prescribed by physician and/or hospital policy, including patient and family instruction
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units and departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care
• Utilize critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of command
