Ultrasound Technologist

Job Details:

• Variable 10-hour shifts with start times at 6:30 AM or 11:00 AM
• Opportunity for on-call during night shift
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
• May be required to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
• Required certifications: ARDMS, ARRT R, BLS, RVT, ARDMS in at least 1 category
• Required skills include: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester imaging, abdominal aorta, appendix, bladder, breast, breast cyst aspiration, carotid, Doppler studies, emergency department, fetal anatomical survey, gallbladder, hernia, liver, lower extremity arterial and venous, M-Mode, ovaries, PACS, pancreas, paracentesis, pediatric abdomen/pelvis, portables, prostate, renal artery duplex, renal/bladder, spleen, superficial masses, testicles/scrotum, thoracentesis, thyroid, ultrasound guided biopsy/fine needle aspiration, upper extremity arterial and venous, uterus, vaginal, outpatient, and biopsies/Trophon
• Patients include adolescents and adults with geriatric experience preferred
• Valid California license in hand required
• 50-mile radius rule applies
