Opportunity:
OR LIC Vascular US Tech
Job Details:
• Vascular ultrasound technologist (RVT) position
• On-call required with 4 nights needing call coverage
• Weekends not required, though weekend call and shifts may be needed as needed
• No block schedules required
• Patient ratio of 1:1 with a daily census of 8-10 patients per technologist
• Position does not float between units
• At least 1 year of recent prior experience in vascular ultrasound required
• Oregon state license required (OBMI)
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: ARDMS RVT, CCI RVS, or RDCS - RVT
• Required skills include: Adult, Aorta, Arterial mapping, Carotid, Color Flow, Doppler Studies, Duplex, Lower Extremity Arterial, Lower Extremity Venous, Renal Artery Duplex, Stents, Upper Extremity Arterial, Upper Extremity Venous
• Preferred skills include: Arterial Graft Studies, Dialysis grafts, Renal, Transcranial Doppler, Pediatrics, NICU
• Equipment used includes: Philips EPIQ ultrasound machine, Parks Flo-Lab, and Dolphin TCD machine
• Scrub color: any color; OR/Cath Lab scrubs are provided
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Must have a vehicle for this assignment
• Candidates may be expected to float to nearby sister facilities
• Patient age groups include: Neonates, Infants, Adolescents, Pediatrics, Adults, and Geriatrics
Facility:
This short-term acute care facility is a large teaching hospital with 536 total staffed beds. The facility offers interdisciplinary support including interpretation services, rapid response teams, and transportation. The organization utilizes Epic for charting and provides a well-equipped environment for vascular ultrasound professionals, including advanced imaging technology to support a diverse and complex patient population.
