Opportunity:
Ultrasound Tech
Job Details:
• Variable shift times for Swing/Graveyard shifts ranging from 12:00 AM to 5:30 AM
• Must have OB certification
• Four years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech required
• Travel experience required
• Must have ability to perform OB ultrasound
• Bachelor's degree in Sonography preferred
• Must be capable of operating state of the art ultrasound equipment, computer systems, film processors, and other supportive devices
• Experience with Epic charting system required
• Serve patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Perform a wide range of ultrasound procedures including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester OB scans, fetal anatomical surveys, abdominal, pelvic, renal, thyroid, transvaginal, and Doppler studies
• Perform guided procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, and ultrasound-guided biopsy/fine needle aspiration
• Support interdisciplinary teams including radiology, rapid response teams, and interpretation services
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to work positively in a team environment
• Must demonstrate empathy and compassion for patients, families, visitors, and co-workers
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARDMS in Abdomen (AB) and OB/GYN
• Must hold an active Sonography license with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) - permanent or temporary license accepted
