Ultrasound Technologist

Job Details:

• Sunday 4:00 PM to midnight, Monday/Tuesday 2:00 PM to midnight, Wednesday 4:00 PM to midnight for a total of 36 hours per week
• Call required one day per week and one weekend per month
• Weekend requirement on a sometimes basis
• Holiday rotation required
• Acute care setting
• Perform all general ultrasound exams including Para Thoracentesis, and vascular exams
• Average 8 to 16 scans/studies per day
• Work in a department with 3 scanning rooms
• Occasional floating to other areas may be required but is not standard
• Radiologist on-site; work under radiology supervisor
• Use Philips EPIQ equipment and Cerner EMR/PACS system
• IV starts are not required
• Scrubs are not provided
• Required certifications: BLS, RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer), RDMS OB/GYN certification required, RVT (Vascular Technology) preferred
• Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per contract; 3 shifts if contract is under 13 weeks
