Opportunity:
Cath Lab Tech / Radiology/Cardiology
Job Details:
• Work 5x8-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Low STEMI call required with on-call rotation every 3rd week
• Work setting is in the Cath Lab
• Charting system: EPIC
• 1 year of experience required; 3 years preferred
• Patient age groups: Adults and Geriatrics
• Daily census of approximately 10 patients across 3 rooms
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R, CI, or VI) or RCIS/CCI
• South Carolina state license (SCRQSA) required prior to start; no pending licenses accepted
• If holding RCIS certification, SCRQSA and SCBME are also required
• Must float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
• 50-mile radius rule applies
• Expect to work some holidays; keep time off requests to a minimum
• Required skills include: Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Stent Placement, IABP Placement/Removal, Left and Right Heart Catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), PTCA, Rotablator Atherectomy, Impella Insertion, Temporary Pacemaker, TAVR, Angioplasty, Embolization, Renal and Carotid Angiography, Carotid Stenting, Central Venous Access/Port Placement, Endovascular Interventions, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, EVAR, TEVAR, and maintenance of sterile field
Facility:
This facility operates a specialized Cath Lab environment focused on cardiac and interventional radiology procedures. The unit supports a daily census of approximately 10 patients across 3 procedure rooms, providing a full range of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular services. The facility utilizes EPIC for charting and Philips equipment, and offers a collaborative clinical environment with access to advanced cardiac and vascular procedures.
