Opportunity:

Occupational Therapist - Pediatric Outpatient

Job Details:

• 20-week assignment working Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM (Monday off)
• No on-call requirements; may be called off based on patient volume
• Guaranteed hours after call-off policy has been met
• Assess and treat pediatric patients with varied developmental conditions including Autism, sensory challenges, fine motor delay, and regulation issues
• Experience with feeding and eating techniques preferred but not required
• Treat patient age groups including pediatrics and adolescents
• Patient diagnoses include developmental delay, Autism, sensory processing challenges, genetic anomalies, and other developmental conditions
• Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience required
• Pediatric outpatient experience required; children's hospital experience preferred but not required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Maximum of 6 days of requested time off per contract
• Required to work 2 out of 3 holidays
• May be required to float within the hospital
• Charting system: Epic (preferred experience)
• Scrub color: Any color
• Free parking available
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NBCOT, California Board of OT State License
• California OT license required; candidates licensed in another state may use the 60-day rule to practice in California while obtaining their CA license and must be willing to actively work toward obtaining the CA license upon offer
• Local candidates (within 50 miles of facility) are not accepted
