Opportunity:
Surgical Tech - OR
Job Details:
• 10-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Rotating day off included in weekly schedule
• Call required with minimal requirements of 1-2 shifts every 6 weeks
• 2 weekends shifts per contract required
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Charting system: Epic (required)
• Required experience in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Neurology, Vascular, and Urology
• Preferred experience with DaVinci Robotic Surgery, endovascular procedures, and ophthalmology
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of 45 patients with 14 rooms and 14 beds
• Required certification: BLS
• Required skills include but are not limited to: abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, anterior cervical fusion, arthroscopy, carotid endarterectomy, cholecystectomy, craniotomy, femoral popliteal bypass graft, hernia repair, kyphoplasty, laminectomy/discectomy, laparoscopic assisted procedures, lumbar fusion, open and closed reduction of fractures, prostatectomy, total joint replacement, Whipple procedure, and XLIF
Facility:
This healthcare facility is a Trauma Level I institution offering a comprehensive surgical services department with 14 operating rooms supporting a wide range of specialties. The facility provides advanced surgical care across orthopedics, general surgery, neurology, vascular, and urology, with access to robotic surgery platforms including the DaVinci system. The organization supports a high-volume surgical environment with a collaborative interdisciplinary team dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes.
