Opportunity:

RN - Oncology

Job Details:

• Work 80 hours per pay period on a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Provide direct patient care in accordance with physician orders
• Plan, provide, and/or supervise nursing care of patients under the supervision of a medical oncologist
• Take and record measurements and readings
• Assess patient condition and provide appropriate treatment and care
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for reactions
• Coordinate care planning with other caregivers and departments
• Adhere to universal precautions and infection control policies
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Provide leadership while working collaboratively with other care team members
• BSN or ADN required with current Ohio RN license
• Oncology experience required
• CPR certification required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively in oral and written manner
• Ability to read, calculate, and prepare medications and observe and analyze resulting reactions
• Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract
