Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2562.40

Opportunity:

Acute Care PT

Job Details:

• 8 or 10 hour shift options available
• 1:1 patient ratio
• No on-call required
• No weekends required
• No block schedules required
• No floating between units
• Patients treated include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work with Epic charting system (required)
• Dress code for licensed nursing personnel requires solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire (print tops not acceptable)
• Acute care experience is required - minimum 1 year of experience required
• Required skills include acute care, orthopedics, neurology, gait training, patient/family education, and home exercise program development
• Experience working with conditions including post-op surgical recovery, total hip and knee replacements, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and neurological disorders
• Required certification: BLS
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility

Facility:

This short-term acute care facility operates with 379 staffed beds and holds a Level II Trauma Center designation. The facility provides interdisciplinary support including physical therapy services and offers free surface parking for staff. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes Epic as its primary charting system.
