Opportunity:

RN - ER/Critical Care

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with variable days
• Sunday through Saturday work week with every other weekend required
• Combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts during day and evening shift hours
• Must be able to function independently with House Supervisor as backup from 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• ER physician available in the department 24/7
• Experience working in a small emergency room is a plus
• Higher acuity or ICU experience preferred to assist with occasional outreach RN shifts
• Floating to other units or departments is not required
• Seven rooms and eight gurneys in the emergency department
• Utilize equipment including Omnicell and MediTech for order entry
• Charting system: EPIC
• Dress code: Scrubs or nursing uniforms
• BSN not required
• Oregon RN license required and must be in hand prior to starting
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a dedicated emergency and critical care department equipped to handle a wide range of patient needs. The emergency department features seven rooms and eight gurneys, with a 24/7 physician presence and House Supervisor backup support. The facility utilizes modern technology including electronic charting and automated medication management systems to support its clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care.
