Opportunity:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Job Details:
• Day shift schedule Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM
• On-call night shift coverage required Saturday through Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Solo-run unit with possible patient ratio of 2 to 1
• Work on the 1st floor in the main building of the facility
• Operate GE Infinia and GE Discovery imaging equipment
• Utilize EMR systems including Meditech Magic/Expanse, Merge Cardio, Cardinal Health, Xcelaris, and PACS
• Perform procedures including HIDA scans, gastric emptying studies, and stress tests
• Must have a strong understanding of JCAHO standards and regulations
• Must be able to work independently in a solo-run unit
• IV skills and patient care experience preferred
• Self-starter with strong communication and team player attributes preferred
• Required certifications: NMTCB or ARRT (NM) certification and TMB
• Dress code: Kelly green scrubs

This healthcare facility operates a Nuclear Medicine department with 2 dedicated imaging rooms, providing specialized diagnostic imaging services to the community. The unit follows established protocols and general organizational policies, with procedures and guidelines available on-site for staff reference. The department is equipped with advanced GE imaging technology and supports a range of nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures.
