Opportunity:

PT - Outpatient

Job Details:

• Monday through Thursday schedule from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM with a 1-hour lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, totaling 9 hours per day
• Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM with no lunch break, totaling 4 hours
• Total of 40 hours per week
• Daily workload of 10 to 12 patients
• Outpatient experience required
• Rehabilitation hospital experience preferred
• Lifting and transfer skillset required
• 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Teal scrubs required
• State PT Licensure from the Board of PT Examiners or PT Compact Commission required
• Required certifications: BLS
• Preferred certifications include: Dry Needling, Manual Therapy, Hand Therapy, Wound Care
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must be comfortable treating patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• May be required to float to in-patient acute care units

Facility:

This facility features a 22-bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit located on the 5th floor, staffed by a highly skilled therapy and nursing team dedicated to patient recovery. The unit supports patients experiencing general weakness, balance deficits, difficulty walking, speech and swallowing difficulties, memory loss, and challenges with activities of daily living. The facility maintains a high success rate for helping patients regain functionality and return to their community setting.
