Job Details:

• 4x10 day shifts, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call required as needed; approximately 1 week's worth of call over a 12-17 week contract
• On-call shifts include 24 hours on Saturday and 24 hours on Sunday in the call rotation
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers welcome
• Patient population: Adults and Geriatrics
• Patient ratio: 3:1
• Perform invasive cath procedures at a volume of 25-35 per day
• Procedures include Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Left and Right Heart Catheterization, and Rotablator
• EP lab duties include devices, ablation, and EP studies
• PV lab duties include fistula, A/O LE runoff, pedal access, and thrombectomy
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring and conscious sedation
• Work with patients diagnosed with coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, arrhythmia, irregular rhythms, and abnormal electrical function of the heart
• Scrub and EKG required
• EPIC (CUPID and XPER Witt) experience required for hemodynamic monitoring
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• RCIS/RCES strongly preferred but not required
• ARRT or CCI certification preferred
• Community hospital experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius
• Active license must be in hand at submission
• One pre-approved time off request allowed; must be submitted with application
