Opportunity:

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• 48-hour weekly guarantee
• 8, 10, or 13 week contracts available
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities
• EMR system: EPIC
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Historical patient ratio of 1:7 with travel staff helping to improve ratio
• 2 years of previous stepdown experience required
• At least 1 completed travel contract preferred
• Illinois and Iowa state licenses required (IA required on offer)
• Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility
• Required equipment/skills: Chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines
• Required medication experience: Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, and Argatroban with some titration
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• Driver's license required
• Work history/resume required
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required
• License verification required
• Copy of required certifications required
• 1 supervisory reference required at time of submission
• Summer holiday requirement: Must work 1-2 of 3 holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

The organization is actively expanding its travel nurse program to improve patient-to-nurse ratios and enhance the overall quality of care delivered to its patient population.
