RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Full-time position requiring 36 hours per week, 3 shifts per week
• Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
• Establish a compassionate environment to provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team
• Provide health teaching and counseling to promote, attain, and maintain optimum health levels for patients
• Demonstrate ability to use clinical judgment in conjunction with critical thinking to recognize, act upon, and report changes in patient condition
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in patient medical records
• Provide input into the development of policies and procedures to support patient safety and quality of care
• Supervision and delegation responsibilities of licensed practical nurses and/or unlicensed assistant personnel
• Serve as a patient advocate by communicating and collaborating with other health service professionals
• Timely completion of required education, competencies, and licensure
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• TNCC certification preferred
