Opportunity:
Nuclear Medicine Tech
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM on rotating days
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience required
• Required licenses: ARRT or RCIS, NV State License (must have NV license in hand before start date)
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
• Provide high quality Nuclear Medicine data to interpreting physicians in accordance with departmental procedures and State and Federal regulations
• Serve patients across all age groups including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
• Communicate with physicians and nursing personnel regarding patient scheduling, patient preps, and appropriate exam orders
• Operate state-of-the-art scintillation cameras, computers, and other support equipment to produce high quality Nuclear Medicine studies
• May be required to float to meet organizational needs up to competency level
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period
• Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends and holidays
Facility:
This facility is an extremely busy and fast-paced 800 inpatient bed hospital serving a 500-mile radius, operating at the volume and pace of a Level 1 trauma center. The facility holds Level 2 trauma center designation and stroke accreditation, with 80 emergency room beds treating over 80,000 ER and trauma patients annually. The organization is home to a children's hospital, a robotic surgery institute, and comprehensive brain, nerve, heart, and cancer services, and features state-of-the-art technologies including PET/CT scanners, Biplane Angiography, and 3T MRI.
