Opportunity:

RN - Medical Unit

Job Details:

• Night shift position on a 13-week contract
• Scheduled 36 hours per week following the first full week of orientation
• Required to work various shift lengths and various days - must be flexible
• No guarantee of hours or shift preference
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:8 for nights
• Perform general medical unit duties including working with wound vacs and chest tubes
• Utilize Meditech EMR and Pyxis systems
• May float to Laulima Unit and Cardiovascular Unit
• 2-10 years of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Professional nursing attire required
• Orientation provided for each unit
• Active State of Hawaii license required prior to start of assignment
• Must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday

This facility operates a 77-bed medical unit providing comprehensive inpatient care to patients with a variety of medical needs. The unit is equipped with modern medical technology and supports a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Orientation programs are provided for each unit to ensure staff are well-prepared to deliver high-quality care.
